Managing transplant-eligible NDMM patients
Module 2 focuses on managing transplant-eligible (Te) patients with NDMM, with particular attention to high-risk disease. It covers the 2025 IMS-IMWG definition of high-risk multiple myeloma and the main high-risk subgroups (renal impairment, extramedullary disease and high-risk cytogenetics), and works through induction, ASCT and tandem ASCT, consolidation, maintenance and supportive care. After this module you will be able to evaluate treatment strategies for difficult-to-treat patients, compare single versus tandem ASCT, assess the role of consolidation therapy, and analyse maintenance regimens and optimal treatment duration.
